We are seeking a
qualified and experienced Safety Officer
to oversee and ensure compliance with workplace safety and health (WSH) regulations for a
large-scale LTA project . The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining a safe working environment, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and project-specific safety standards. Key Responsibilities:
Implement and enforce
WSH policies and procedures
in accordance with
LTA
and
MOM
regulations. Conduct
site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits
to identify hazards and ensure compliance. Ensure all work activities are aligned with
LTA's safety guidelines
and industry best practices. Monitor and manage safety-related documentation, including
incident reports, permits, and safety records . Familiar with InSight
- Maintain accurate records and reporting through the
LTA InSight system . Organize and conduct
safety briefings, toolbox meetings, and training sessions
for workers and subcontractors. Investigate accidents/incidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions. Work closely with
site management, engineers, and contractors
to promote a strong safety culture. Requirements:
WSH-related certification
(e.g., WSQ Advanced Certificate in WSH, NEBOSH, or equivalent). Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO)
with MOM is a must. Experience in LTA projects
is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of
WSH regulations, LTA safety requirements, and risk management practices . Proficiency in InSight
for reporting and documentation. Excellent communication and leadership skills to coordinate with stakeholders and ensure compliance. What We Offer:
