Sonicare uses high-speed vibrations of approximately 31,000 strokes per minute to dislodge plaque and a wide brush-head amplitude to sweep it away. These movements also generate an oral fluid flow called “sonic water flow,” which gently and effectively helps remove plaque. Newly adopted technology allows the built-in motor to automatically adjust power so performance does not drop in hard-to-reach areas, enabling consistent brushing and a uniform clean.

The Premium Gum Care brush head provides plaque removal and gum care simultaneously. Developed with gum health in mind, the outer bristle layout is designed to gently reach the gum line. The brush head conforms to the individual shapes of teeth and gums. A flexible rubber head fits the curves of tooth surfaces to remove plaque in hard-to-reach areas while gently stimulating the gum line. It absorbs excessive brushing pressure to reduce the risk of gum damage when too much force is applied. It removes up to 10 times more plaque than manual brushing in hard-to-reach areas and promotes gum health in two weeks.

Long-lasting battery: up to about three weeks of use on a full charge, based on two 2-minute brushing sessions per day. The handle is more compact and lighter: motor miniaturization made the handle about 5% shorter and about 8% lighter compared with the previous ProtectClean series (with brush head attached).

Choose your preferred cleaning with four modes and three intensity levels. There are 12 brushing settings (four modes each with three intensity levels) so you can increase brushing power or select the setting that suits you. Modes: Clean, Sensitive, Gum Health, and White.

The pressure sensor protects teeth and gums by alerting you when brushing too hard. When the built-in sensor detects excessive force, the brushing vibration changes to prompt you to ease pressure. A brush head replacement reminder tracks applied force and usage time and lights up when replacement is needed.

The pacer signals every 20 seconds to help you evenly cover the mouth, and the smart timer automatically stops after two minutes to ensure proper brushing time and prevent over-brushing. An Easy-Start feature gradually increases vibration intensity to help new users get accustomed to an electric toothbrush.
