Quantity Surveyor, Jurong East

Join Exceltec Property Management as a Quantity Surveyor and contribute to the success of our growing Civil/Structural Engineering projects. As a fulltime Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing budgets, estimating costs, and ensuring the financial viability of our construction initiatives. What you'll be doing Prepare detailed cost estimates and bills of quantities
Analyse tenders and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
Monitor project costs and budgets, and provide regular updates to stakeholders
Manage contractual and commercial aspects of projects, including claims and variations
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure successful project delivery
Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements
Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle
What we're looking for Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the Civil/Structural Engineering industry
Proficient in the use of cost estimation software and project management tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders
Familiarity with relevant construction regulations, standards, and industry best practices
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
