Core Duties
Coordinate daily transport schedules and vehicle assignments Monitor drivers, routes, and delivery timelines Communicate with drivers, customers, warehouses, and dispatch teams Track shipments and respond to delays or disruptions Ensure transport operations comply with safety and legal regulations Maintain transport records, logs, permits, and documentation Arrange vehicle servicing, maintenance, and inspections Handle incident reporting and emergency response coordination Optimize routes to reduce fuel costs and improve efficiency Prepare operational reports and performance data Administrative Tasks
Update transport management systems and spreadsheets Process invoices, delivery notes, and transport documents Manage driver rosters, leave schedules, and attendance Coordinate subcontractors or third-party logistics providers Customer Service Responsibilities
Respond to customer delivery inquiries Provide status updates and resolve complaints Coordinate urgent or special transport requests Skills Commonly Required
