In the old Shanghai of the 1930s, various forces were entangled and complicated. Rural young man Xiaohu (played by Yuan Biao) comes to Shanghai to find his brother Dahu (played by Lin Zixiang) who is an officer and colonel in the British Concession. However, they encountered a gun battle the night they arrived. The two sides fought over a huge overseas donation, resulting in numerous casualties.



With the help of his new circus friends, Xiaohu successfully found his brother. Dahu is an upright man and hates evil as much as possible, but in such troubled times, his power is meager.
