ORT Helical is fine tuned for each Antenna. On its own design, Helical has 180ohm impedance which is not matched with our FPV system with 50ohm impedance. Hence so-called helical tuning is the most important part to ensure the antenna matches our FPV system to provide you with the most efficient directional antenna.
ORT Helical 12 turn is designed only to satisfy long range madness, penetration purpose and also to get most range out of your 5.8GHz gear and push your limit to the edge. Covering 100~120 degree signal beam and providing highest gain available on 5.8GHz while maintaining efficiency, we recommend using this with our ORT cocktail/pagoda long edt antenna on the Transmitter side to get the best performance.
