Business Development Manager (Electronics / Manufacturing), Tampines

Position : Business Development Manager (Electronics / Manufacturing) Location : North East - Tai Seng Drive Working hours : Monday to Friday | 8.00am to 5.45pm Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $6,500 + Up to 2 Months Variable Bonus + Annual Leave + Medical & Dental Benefits Duration : Permanent Industry : Manufacturing
Main Responsibilities: Identify and develop new business opportunities in manufacturing, electronics, industrial, automation, and engineering sectors. Build and manage sales pipeline to achieve revenue and growth targets. Maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers. Act as main point of contact for RFQs, enquiries, project discussions, and customer requirements. Work with engineering, quotation, procurement, and production teams to prepare competitive proposals. Follow up on quotations, negotiate pricing, terms, and project scope to secure business. Grow existing accounts through upselling, cross-selling, and long-term partnerships. Conduct market research on industry trends, competitors, and customer needs. Track sales activities, pipeline status, and provide regular updates to management. Requirements: Diploma/Degree in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or related field. Minimum 5-8 years of business development, sales, or account management experience. Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or technical product sales preferred. Strong understanding of RFQ process, costing, and technical proposals. Good communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Able to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
