Work Location: Ang Mo Kio
Job Purpose: Responsible for planning and delivering quality, student-centered instruction for learners with special needs, supporting their academic, social and functional development.
Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver individualized and group instructional programs for students with special needs
Adapt teaching strategies and materials to meet diverse learning and developmental needs
Create a safe, structured and supportive learning environment
Monitor, assess and document students' progress and development
Collaborate with parents, caregivers and multidisciplinary professionals to support students' holistic growth
Job Requirements: Diploma/Degree or equivalent
Candidates with recognized Diploma in Special Education, Diploma / Degree in Education or Post Graduate Diploma in Education is a MUST.
Prior experience with Students with Mid Intellectual Disabilities (MID) is preferred
Prior experience handling Numeracy/ Literacy, Physical Education, WPLN, Science, HSR, SEL/ CCE and Vocational Guidance is an added advantage.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
