Project Engineer (Electrical), Yishun

Job Summary Lead and manage all electrical works execution, ensuring compliance with specifications, timely completion, budget control, and strong client relationships for successful project delivery. Responsibilities Evaluate electrical work costings to ensure budget alignment and cost-effectiveness Review and verify shop drawings for compliance with technical specifications and regulatory requirements before submission Liaise and conduct meetings with clients and consultants to resolve technical issues, clarify requirements, and facilitate inspections and submissions Serve as the primary contact for all electrical-related matters, providing clear communication and issue resolution Attend weekly site meetings to coordinate project progress and address challenges Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships to meet and exceed client expectations Manage, coordinate, and supervise workers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure proper execution and high-quality workmanship Plan, implement, and track work progress, submitting weekly progress reports to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget Monitor project costs including variations and prepare supporting documentation for cost control Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation for all electrical works Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless project execution and successful handover to clients Follow safety procedures, rules, and regulations to eliminate or reduce workplace hazards and ensure a safe working environment Perform other duties as assigned to support project and company objectives Required competencies and certifications Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering Preferred competencies and qualifications Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in electrical works execution and project management Proficient knowledge of installation of M&E services and builder's works Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage stakeholders Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team player Proactive approach with the ability to take initiative in problem-solving and project execution Skilled in negotiation to manage vendors and subcontractors effectively Proficient in PC literacy, including MS Office applications
